Snuggle’s weakness for the Vicar’s chickens drives the Vicar mad. But when the witch Griselda sends fireballs on the garden of The Old Vicarage, Snuggle (by mistake) magics not only the boys but the church and Vicar to the Land of Ramion. The Vicar becomes a child again, and learns not to fear a thing. Dancing up to the witch he calls her “Auntie Griselda” and (whilst she is in a state of shock) takes her magic staff. He magics worms out of the earth and fish out of the lake where (to Griselda’s horror) they sing a pilgrim’s hymn. The Vicar returns home restored to health thinking he has had a dream.
